Please see here for all the information you require on our new Racing Post+ subscription packages.
- Payment
2.1 You must pay the relevant fee (the "Membership Fee") for the Racing Post+ Services (Ultimate, Insights or Tipping) in accordance with the package which you have selected at the time you subscribe.
2.2 Unless we have specifically informed you otherwise, all payments in respect of the Membership Fee will be charged in advance of the period to which they relate. The Membership Fee will be automatically billed against the credit/debit card number that you provide. Annual subscriptions will be payable in full at the time you subscribe. We will confirm acceptance of your order and notify you by email that we have debited your credit/debit card and that you have been granted access to the Racing Post+ Services. Debiting your credit/debit card will constitute our acceptance of your request to access the Racing Post+ Services.
2.3 In order for us to keep taking recurring subscriptions payments from you we need to securely attach a payment card to your account. To protect your details full card details are not held by us.
2.4 Any increases to the Membership Fee will be notified to you by email at least ten days in advance of the increase coming into force.
2.5 The contract between you and us in respect of the Racing Post+ Services will become legally binding from the time at which we take payment from you. This is also the time from which we will authorise you to receive the Racing Post+ Services.
- Access & cancellation
Subscriptions directly with Spotlight Sports Group
3.1 Once you have subscribed to the Racing Post+ Services, you must pay for, and we must provide to you, the Racing Post+ Services throughout any of the duration of any package for which you have subscribed subject to Your Statutory Right to Cancel your subscription in certain circumstances, please see the cancellation provisions in the User Agreement and as follows:
3.2 In order to cancel and avoid automatic renewal you must inform us by contacting our Racing Post+ subscription cancellation team on +44 (0) 2036 348615 (Monday - Friday 9am-8pm) at least 7 days before, in the case of monthly subscriptions, and 30 days, in the case of annual subscriptions, before payment would be due to be made to renew the subscription. For clarity if you do not provide 7 days notice and you have an upcoming payment in less than 7 days time you will be charged for the next payment period.
If you have an annual subscription you may not cancel it within the first month (subject to Your Statutory Right to Cancel).
3.3 Following your cancellation we will issue to you a pro rata refund for any unused whole days remaining on your subscription. For these purposes we will regard a day as starting at 00.01 hours GMT or BST, as the case may be.
3.4 If you do not cancel your subscription , it will automatically be renewed at the end of each month or year and the Membership Fee for the following year will be automatically debited from your debit/credit card at that time.
Subscriptions via a third party
If you purchase your Subscription directly through Apple’s ‘App Store’, Google’s ‘Play Store’ or any other third-party app-purchase location (each an “App Provider”), then you can only cancel your Subscription in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of the App Provider and you shall not have the right to any refund from Spotlight Sports Group in respect of any termination or cancellation of the Subscription.

- Upgrades, Downgrades and Different Packages with the same price
4.1 You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription
4.2 'Downgrading' means switching to a package which has a total monthly Membership Fee less than your current package. If you wish to downgrade you must contact Racing Post Customer Services via email at help@racingpost.com (Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm). You must give us at least 7 days notice if you wish to downgrade in the case of monthly subscriptions and 30 days in the case of annual subscriptions. If you have an annual subscription you may not give notice to downgrade it within the first month.
4.3 Your access to the downgraded package will commence on the date that your first monthly payment of your Membership Fee for the downgraded package is made, which will be the same date as the next monthly payment for your previous package would have been made had you not downgraded. We will also confirm this by email. If you do not give us the minimum of seven days notice required, the downgrade will not take place until the following month.
4.4 If you are downgrading from an annual subscription, your access to the downgraded package will commence on the date that your first monthly payment of your Membership Fee for the downgraded package is made, which will be the date one month from the date on which you contacted Racing Post's Customer Services to downgrade. You will not be able to downgrade again until the new downgraded package commences. We will also confirm this by email.
4.5 If you upgrade or downgrade your package, we will adjust the remainder of your Membership Fee accordingly. Where applicable we will credit you with any amounts you have paid in advance that relate to the remaining period of any subscription.
4.6 Upgrading your subscription - payment failure/insufficient funds.
If you attempt to upgrade your subscription and the payment fails, your existing membership will be cancelled immediately and you will receive a pro-rata refund for any unused days on your membership. You will need to re-join to continue enjoying our services.
- Refunds
Subscriptions directly with Spotlight Sports Group
We will refund to you all monies due to you in relation to your cancellation or downgrading of your subscription package within 30 days of the date on which such cancellation or downgrade takes effect.

Subscriptions via a third party
If you purchase your Subscription directly through Apple’s ‘App Store’, Google’s ‘Play Store’ or any other third-party app-purchase location (each an “App Provider”), then you can only cancel your Subscription in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of the App Provider and you shall not have the right to any refund from Spotlight Sports Group in respect of any termination or cancellation of the Subscription.
